No documents from WDW with room only?

Do you not get documents with room only ? I haven't received anything from Disney about my upcoming vacation from Dec 18 -Jan 5th. Nothing saying my room is paid or monies owing etc....

I spoke with CM at reservations and she said no documents as I have room only:confused3 .

You should get it e-mailed and if you register with the WDW website, you should be able view it online. My Dad just made our room only August 2008 reservation at the Grand Floridian and we are waiting for the e-mail, which could take 2 - 4 hours until we get it according to the Cast Member. Also minutes after making the reservation, I was able to view it on the Disney World website.
 
WDW just sent us the e-mail for our Grand Floridian confirmation. So my advice is to call CRO and tell them you would like you're confirmation e-mailed.
 

I'm old fashioned, I prefer the hard copy to email, so I always ask to have a hard copy of my room confirmation mailed to me. If you don't ask, the default is email.
 
Ever since I signed up online I've found that CRO doesn't mail your confirmation if you have room only reservations - only an email confirmation. That's all we got for our September vacation & that's all I've received for our January vacation. :santa:

For my families stay this past August at the Contemporary and for next month at the Polynesian, despite them being room only reservations and getting a confirmation e-mailed, we still got confirmations that were mailed to our house.
 
Other than my DME documentation, I've received nothing (other than email confirmations) for my last three room-only reservations.

Apparently you can request a hard copy mailed.

I have 2 room only reservations right now, was told I would get email confimations, and I did. The emails include a link to reservation details (address, dates, hotel name, people on the reservation, amount of deposit paid). Call back. If you made a reservation you need something to prove it, if needed, besides your credit card stmt - since that doesn't provide enough detail.
 
I received couriered DME last Friday. Disney told me two weeks ago the other documents were arriving. :rotfl: Guess I had a CM that was wrong!

I do have online reservations, however I thought folks on here said they aren't always accurate? I'll just print that out. I have the 40% off room rates and I want to make sure I get it at that rate!

Yes, online can be inaccurate. Our reservation has displayed incorrectly since a CM made a change (at our request) and our reservation now shows as "cancelled". However, our emails and phone calls reflect our reservation accurately! As a former IT person, I am amazed Disney continues to operate at all with the different systems it has going and the problems that continually pop up!!! :confused3
