No Disneyland tickets with Aeroplan points

I just wanted to share my disappointment with my DIS family... Nobody can do anything about this, so it's really just to vent a little frustration and an FYI for people using Aeroplan points for park tickets. DH, DD and I are going to DL early December, and have been accumulating Aeroplan and Airmiles points to get 3 adult entrance tickets (we've done this in the past). We had enough miles to get one of the tickets through Airmiles, no problem, but when I went on Aeroplan's site to get the 2 other tickets, they were no longer available in the reward options (they were the week before. Now they only offer tickets for Disney World). Aeroplan customer service can't tell us if this is a glitch or something permanent, but that sure throws a huge wrench in our travel budget. I'm feeling rather blue at the moment, especially since we're Canadian and the rate of exchange if pretty bad right now , but oh well... c'est la vie! Moral of the story? Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today! If I'd acted last week, I wouldn't be posting this!

I feel your pain We should have bought our Premier APs before they increased the price by over $300 US each. With the rate of exchange, it's going to hurt the pocketbook! Sometimes, I over think things and just wanted to wait for plans to finalize before I purchase tickets. And also, I find that using AirMiles or Aeroplan points, I have to make a quick decision before the flights or rewards are no longer there. Usually, it's the flights that go quickly, didn't realize that park tickets would too .. unless, they are planning to raise individual ticket prices? I hope that it all works out for you and your family

i hope that doesn't happen to airmiles -- we are leaving early January 2016 and I want to get one adult 5 day PH but right now they only are valid until dec 31-15 so I am stuck until they push out the expiry date further
