Up next: ADR's

O.K.-I'll subscribe. It looks like a great plan so far. I've never been a first time poster before on someone's ptr.

I'll be back from the World before you go, so check my pre-trippie, and post trippie for magical hints:wizard:

Come on people! What do I have to do?? Dance for you?! :confused3 :lmao:

We got our Mickey Mail last week. I was so excited!! I already brought my luggage in from the garage & put my luggage tags on. I have also started packing (I know, I know).. Just stuff that I'm not going to be using between now & then. I thought we were all good as far as purchases go (DH was hoping), but then we realized that BOTH of the older kids need new tennis shoes :sad2:, so we still need to get those before we go.

Oh, and since making our ADR's, we have become Vegan. I was pretty much on the cusp of it for a while, but after reading books & stuff we made the switch and are LOVING it. I am REALLY worried about the vegan choices at wdw, especially for counter service. If anyone has any tips, I would love them.

We are also getting worried about the projected crowd levels for our week. Any time we have been in May it has been wonderful as far as crowds go. Those 8's, 9's, and 10's that the Unofficial Guide has scares me. We are thinking about using RideMax but are unsure of how good it is..we are torn between that & Tour Guide one. Any recs?

Hello!

I too am a new poster! I was also afraid that no one would care about my pre-trip report, but I decided to just write it anyway to have memories. No one has commented yet but I still squeal with glee when I read it because I am so excited to go back to Disney! Ok. one more "me too" I am also 28! Anyway your kids are adorable and I hope you have a great time!:dance3:

Hey....you have the cutest little family. I've just discovered the pre-trip and trip reports part of this website. There is so much going on with these boards I am reading during my lunch hour and trying to keep up with so much it is overwhelming.

It is exciting to read your preparations. It lets me re-live those planning days. It is so much fun to plan.

I'm glad your mom is going. I think she will be presently surprised. I too was one of those people saying "you are going to Disney AGAIN????" until I went as an adult. There is so much to do for anyone of any age.

Anyway, I can't help you much with the dining questions. I am from Louisiana and while at Disney I focus so much on the rides and attractions that eating takes a back seat. We have so much good food at home I want to experience DISNEY instead of taking time to eat.

I am anxious to see how the ASM suites are. Our next trip is 2011 and I am trying to get some family members to come with us. Let me know about the rooms.

Look forward to seeing more so keep posting.

Hey! I'm subbing to your trip! Sounds realllly fun. Maybe on your MK day you could pop over to a MK resort for a meal, I'm not sure what the meal options are for lunch, I know that Ohana is good though..but I don't know if it's a lunch time type place.

I am just amazed at the May crowd levels. Last year, I went at the beginning of May and there was barely any wait for anything!!!

OK. So I am freeeeaking out.

We have been planning this trip since November. Everyone in our family knows this. So 2 weeks ago my MIL & FIL mention they are going to be in FL that week & would like to join us for a few days. Ok, no prob. We switch around some things because they wanted to join us for Universal.

Well, I just got a phone call from MIL saying that my SIL wants to join us on May 9th and she really wants to go to Magic Kingdom that day. (They really didn't want to inconvenience us b/c they know what anal planners we are)...It will be her son's first trip to MK so how can I deny him that?! So now i'm freaking because going to MK on a Saturday does not sound fun to me! And now this messes up all of our ADR's and we are only 18 days out!!

Breathe...Breathe... :rotfl:

Do you have the link to your pre-trip? I'd love to read it!

I know, she's going to love it. She's trying to play it cool & act like she doesn't care...but every time I talk to her it's all she talks about. :)

I know, I am so hoping that the May predictions are way off. :/

Can they go to MK during the day and join you at Planet Hollywood that night for dinner?

Joining in on your pre trip report!! We'll be at All Star Movies for our very first Disney trip May 12-19th!!!! I too am hoping the crowd levels are off:goodvibes
Did you get anything settled for May 9th with your SIL?

Last minute changes can be really scary and annoying. Good luck with all of it. MK on a Saturday shouldn't be TOO bad, as long as you know what you are doing and plan for it :)
