No discounts for GF?

Get this - I called Saturday 700AM, got thru right away. I mean talking to a real person in about one minute. Things are looking good. I try to apply codes to my existing ressie, "sorry, the codes do not apply to the Grand". I am not going during blackout dates. Has anyone else been able to apply codes to deluxe resorts?

Also, I think I might need some help. I am on these boards all the time too much good information. Oh, what am I telling you guys for? You are as bad as me...

You're the first I've heard that it's specifically blocked out of the codes, but on the other hand, I don't think that I've heard of someone applying it there yet either.

I agree I haven't heard anyone trying to apply the discount code for the GF.

Cutter, we are staying @ bcv in a 1bdrm and I tried for an AP code which only save me $50 over AAA but I would have had to spend an additional $189 to get the Ap. Then I tried the next day for the general public code and no availablity for a 1bdrm only studios. This is the second Dec w/o any discount other than AAA. I think we may have to look at a different time of year.

Call back and try again. I had a ressie at GF for LV 10/18 -10/21. When the AP came out i DID apply it to my ressie. Then i decided i wanted CR instead. So i changed it. It was 405.00/nt at the GF for lagoon view. MAYBE theyr are out of rooms, but if they said it didnt apply without even checking that sounds fishy to me.

No, you are not the only one. I tried to get an AP discount for a GV at GF. But nothing, not for any room category. My dates are 11/15 - 11/19. This is the time frame between the end of F&WF and Thanksgiving so I thought I had a chance. If with the Visa offer all they were offering was SLC and Lodge tower rooms. Maybe they are saving the GV rooms for people who will pay rack rate. I'll be checking if a room only code comes out though.

You really need to check back with WDW. I just went to the pasholders site, and plugged in my vacation dates, and was offered a room at GF (lodge tower) WL (courtyard) Contemporary, (MK tower) Poly (garden view)
People hae been saying that the MK area is sold out because of Funai... but im traveling 10/18 the start of the Funai tournement and got at least some kind of room at ALL of the MK resorts.
I was also offered POFQ which people have been told was not part of the offer. I think it has to do with WHEN you are traveling as opposed to Disney not offering certain resorts.

I would be happy to check a specific resort/time for someone!
