No Dinner Discounts With UOR AP in 2015?

Read some Twitter reports earlier today, January 1, 2015, that the annual passes at Universal Orlando don't have dinner discounts for 2015. From what I read, after 5 pm, the AP discounts are no longer being given. One person I follow said his Premier AP discount was refused. Unfortunately, the UOR website has no 2015 AP benefit info on it yet.

Anyone one know if this is a new policy or only a 1/1/15 computer glitch?

That would be a really stupid move on their part. Wonder what the new deals are for everything. Maybe certain restaurants opted out?

Nothing has been confirmed yet. The only place I have heard of it being denied was at Hard Rock Cafe. Someone else was able to use it at Cowfish.

I will be following this thread with interest. As first time AP holders (Premier level, to be activated when we travel in May), it will be a real disappointment if one of the perks we anticipated is no longer a benefit.

hrc has their own type of card for discounts.

Any updates on this? The annual pass information seems to be updated for 2015 on the website and it says that food discounts are included.

One tweet I read is from Burger King and it says that you can use your AP for discounts up to 5 pm. So, I'm wondering if this is just select restaurants that have imposed this restriction.

The Passholder sign-in web page still only lists 2014 for the benefits and discounts.

We have used it successfully every night since the first.

Sounds like the Jan. 1 problem was due to bad specific restaurant procedures. Good to know discounts have been given as they have been in the past.
