No deck door from BWV living room?

DSIL just checked in and love the room and location. 1BR BW View 4th floor above the basketball game.

But, there is only a deck door in the bedroom, and they plan on gathering over there (from another studio) on occasion. Makes it kind of hard to go out on the deck. They said no big deal, but is this normal-we have never had that. She also said it looked like it was there at one time, then modified shut.

Lucky dogs regardless.

There are only a couple of BWV 1 bdrms in the whole resort that do not have a balcony door from both the living room and bedroom. Apparently DSIL got one. We have also had one with only a door from the living room. Hopefully the view will make up a little for the inconvenience.

We had a 4th floor 1BR at BWV like that one time. Either the living room or the bedroom had access to the balcony but not both. I can't remember which way around it was. And as you describe, it looked like at one time there was access from both rooms but then one of them was welded shut. We did like the room however because it had a very nice view of SSE.

I know we had a one bedroom at BCV once that did not have a slider in the master bedroom, just a regular window. You accessed the balcony only from the living room.
