No December Dinner Reservations Cafe Orleans?

I just called Disney Res. for Cafe Orleans and was told no December reservations are being accepted for Dinner until sometime in November! Is this something New? Has anyone heard news about Cafe Orleans recently? Possible constructions Club 33 issues?

Blue Bayou is the same. For the BB I believe it is from 12/12 going forward, not sure about CO. As a best alternative, I booked the last lunch time and check regularly to see if dinner has opened up so I can switch my res.

I spoke with the dining CM but they didn't seem to have any information as to why dinner is closed or when/if it will re-open.

A few weeks ago I heard they were going to refurb it for a few weeks in December. It sounds like a terrible idea given the time of the year but maybe the rumor is true.

Someone on here posted in another thread that at least for BB the CM said the entertainment schedule was not finalized, and it was reliant on that and reservations would open up when it was finalized. I check every day, but have a lunch ressie as backup.

Club 33 construction seems to be complete. There is some construction in the Kings Courtyard (22 royal street), but seems unrelated to any restaurants.

They've been way behind in getting their entertainment schedule approved and the scheduling template for reservations uploaded to the reservation system. That's it. It's not construction or refurbishments or anything like that. A few weeks ago I called Dis Dining to make reservations in early Dec because the Blue Bayou/Big Thunder BBQ etc weren't available. The CM stated the above and told me to check back when the schedule is updated. And so it did and everything I waited for became available.

Usually no one has problems making dining options 60 days out, but again, they're really SLOW this year in getting their schedules together. If it's not already listed as a refurbishment, then it's a schedule delay.
