No DDE discount for Castle Breakfast?!????

I called to book the Castle for breakfast and was able to get a ressie, then, I was told I would have to have a DDE card already in order to receive the 20% off. That I can understand but....
I am going to get my AP's and DDE prior to my next trip, will they adjust the bill when I arrive? For 5 people it isn't chaep. I do believe they charge you within 24 hours of making the ressie?
Any advice would be appreciated.

If they have already charged you, they should refund the difference when you show your DDE card on the day.

I just did a reservation for 12 people with the DDE card, 11 adult and 1 child. That came to $392.03. I guess I have to look up the costs to see if I actually got the discount or not, but the CM said that was the price with discount.

Is gratuity included?

they told me on the phone i would be refunded the DDE discount when I called, but they didn't. at the restuarant, they did. although what had happened was i went from 3 to 4 guests there, so i ended up paying like $20 (the cost of the other adult - the DDE discount).

I just went back in Dec w/ the DDE card. They charged the whole amount ahead of time on my CC. When you get there, before the CM brings the bill, give them your card. They will give you back the difference for the discount in the form of a gift card. they won't put the difference back on your CC. The gift card can be used anywhere there, so it doesn't take long to spend it! I had asked about it when I made my ADR & this is what I was told to do - it worked perfectly.
