After I get to the main terminal from my gate (Delta) I will be on level 3. Will I still need to head to baggage claim on level 2 if I only have carry on luggage? Or is there a way I can go directly from level 3 to level 1 where ME is located?

I have no idea. Never been there before.
You are correct. Delta is on the B side. Magical Express in on the B side. There is a tram from the Delta gate to the Main Terminal. When you get there you will see signs to Magical Express. You will head to an escalator and go down one flight. You will cross level two to another escalator - again following the signs - to go down to level 1.

You can take the elevator from the Main Terminal (level 3). As I recall right on the level 1 button it says Magical Express.

Excellent maps because it can be confusing .
I don’t think you can walk from A side to B side on every level.

Yes, you can. You come off the plane, take the monorails to the main terminal. You are now on level 3. You walk a little bit and THEN you decide whether to go to A baggage claim/ticketing/transportation or B baggage claim/ticketing/transportation.

You can walk from the A side to the B side on level 3, but I don’t think you can do so on either level 1 or level 2. So, yes, if you come off the monorail and enter the central atrium at MCO, on level 3, you can then decide whether to go to baggage claim on the A side or the B side. But, If you go down to level 2 or 1 on one side, you cannot then get to the other side without going back to level 3.

Sorry, I read "every" as "any".

So, since DME no longer has luggage service, if you plane arrives on an "A" Gate you have to go to baggage claim on the A side on level 2 then back to level 3 to get to level 1 on the B side for DME ?

Ride services and private vehicles are discouraged from picking up rides on level 3. We had a friend who would pick us up on level 3 but a police officer flagged us and informed her to only pick up on level 2.

I don't understand. How did you think you could get from the third floor to the first floor of ANY building without going to the second floor? Stairs, escalator, or elevator you have to go through the floors in between where you are and where you want to go.
What I meant was not having to get off on the second floor.

But you don’t. Other than to walk from one escalator to the other (maybe 5 steps). Which, physics would tell you that your have to do in any building.

Yet you said “Ok, so I do have to go to level 2 regardless”. As if this was some unique MCO or DME thing.
