No chance to customize Magic Band?

DH & I have a resort reservation at the end of May. We are AP holders and already have Magic Bands (old style).

I was hoping that we would receive the new style MB with our hotel reservation. But when I try to customize on My Disney Experience, it is not offering me any new bands.

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
 
The website still shows the image of the older style band, but you will receive the new style in whichever colors you choose.

Edited to add: Sorry, I misunderstood your problem. I suggest you call.

Is it not offering any bands at all? It should if you have a resort reservation, even with the APs.

FWIW, the images on MDE still show the old band but what they send you will be the new band.
 
My Disney experience is not letting me customize any band for the ressie - it says there is already a band associated with the resort stay.

That's weird, must be something screwy behind the scenes. Hate to say you might have to call. Or try a different computer or browser and see if it does the same thing. Probably a long shot.
 
Thanks everyone! I was hoping to not have to call, but I think you are right, calling is probably my best option. At least I know that the "hold" music will be Disney tunes!

If you dial 407-WDW-HELP it will get you straight to tech support (not that I've ever had to do it:rotfl2:)....
 
That happened to me! For some odd reason it was like the site wasn't acknowledging that I had a reservation. I called WDW and explained the problem and they were able to get in taken care of right away. They had me log out and log back in while they had me on the phone (one CM and the IT department) and when I logged back in all the Magic Band stuff was there and I could customize.
 
Thanks clayfolks for the direct phone # and thank you disneyvoice for sharing your experience ... gives me hope! I'll call Monday when DH isn't home 'cause it's supposed to be a surprise for our anniversary ... crossing my fingers I can keep the secret!
