We just returned from six nights at CS. We stayed in the Ranchos section and had a lovely time, but we had no cell service in our room, the parking lot or even all around our building. We stayed there two years ago in a nearby building and do not remember a problem with cell service. We have Verizon and t-mobile. Anyone else have this experience?

I've had that issue at Pop, but it did work if I stood outside our door or by the door. They are supposed to have free wi-fi in the rooms, too. Did you say anything about this at the front desk?

It's been a few years since we stayed at CSR, but I do recall some issues with cell coverage(we also use Verizon). Usually if we stepped outside the room it was ok.:earsboy:

i've stayed there with both tmobile and then later with verizon. with tmobile i was shocked...we live in florida and there are more dead areas with tmobile than just about any other carrier here. i was surprised as well when we too were in the ranchos section and my verizon coverage was spotty (summer of 2011). it's not your phone...

I am surprised you have issues with T-Mobile. I've had them for years and haven't found a dead spot yet (haven't tried the Everglades though, lol!). I've used my phone at every resort I've stayed in with no reception issues.

I also had good reception with Verizon, which I had until I switched to T-Mobile about 5 years ago.

Friends with Sprint have had issues at Disney, but friends with At&t haven't.

I don't remember having a problem with our Verizon service while staying at CSR, but when I'm talking on the phone, I usually step outside the door so I don't have to compete with the TV. My husband has a Verizon Mi-Fi and we used it at CSR (before they offered wi-fi) with no issues.

We have had good reception at CSR with US Cellular and AT&T (surprisingly for AT&T). I switched to Verizon just before our June trip, but we stayed at BWV. Cell reception was terrible. I could get some reception on the balcony. I think it is a Verizon issue.
