No cash & tipping

We are staying on site for our honeymoon (portofino) and on the days we go to the parks we want to keep it to a minimum what we bring in. Our plan was to bring our tickets , credit card and ID . We don't plan on eating much in there besides maybe some quick service which we will use credit card to pay for and for any Shopping

Question is if we stop for a beer (well I drink , my oh doesn't ) and a soda , we won't have cash to tip the server . Can you tip by card I presume not or how do people work around it or is it a case of if you go to eat or drink you will have to bring cash

Sorry may seem like a stupid question, we are from Ireland where tipping is handled differently

You can put the tip on your credit card. When they give you the receipt, there will be a space for you to write in the tip.

Fwiw, I always, always have a $20 bill on me. You never know when you'll need cash for something.
