No campsites beginning of December

Ugh -- I just sat on hold for 45 minutes this morning to find out that FW is booked up for 12/2-12/12. I asked her to check each night -- we are flexible. She kept saying nothing is available.

Finally, I did manage to get a premium site for 12-6-12/11. I guess 5 nights in a premium is better than nothing. We were looking for 10 nights in a preferred.

I shouldn't be surprised. It seems every time I try to make reservations these days I am told there is nothing available. We tried to go in January and there was nothing available. I am going to have trouble getting my money's worth out of my Annual Pass at this rate.

DO NOT GIVE UP !!! keep calling as many times in a day as you possibly can. people cancel all the time, if your persistent you will fill in the needed days.

Thanks for the advice! I called right back and asked them to check again. I explained that I really wanted 10 nights but was told this morning that they didn't have anything more than the 5 nights.

I got 5 more nights right behind the 5 I already had. I am paying more for a premium site but that's okay. I got my 10 nights! Thanks again -- that was much quicker than I expected -- I was prepared to call every day.

i would say you are lucky as well, it usually takes me a week or two of trying before i get all of what i need

Hope you have a great trip! I've been trying to add days to the end of our December trip, with no luck. Unfortunately, our family must follow the school schedules because DH and I are teachers, and we will have 1 in preschool, 1 in elementary school, 1 in middle school, and 1 in high school!
When I saw the Premium sites open up, I hoped it would help open up some other sites.
