All Christmas break my family has been planning on seeing the Avatar IMAX (expensive!!) this past Saturday. We are stationed overseas, and since the IMAX is offbase, we had to take out Yen at the ATM to pay (which the minimum is roughly $56 increments). We headed that way, with an hour train trip each way (prepaid with pass) only to find out it was sold out! We went ahead and bought tickets for Sunday and charged Starbucks with our debit card so our trip didn't feel like a complete waste. We went yesterday and didn't spend a penny (err...yen) more than we took out, which is a big deal for us!

We only have one income coming in on a Army E5 salary SGT. So money is really tight for us right now. I am a bit of a impulse buyer so I am gonna stop that now!

50 % 0 days 2 out of four

0% for me

1/1 = $75.88 ($25/$700 food/household/gas , $50.88 from planned spending)
1/2 = $0
1/3 = $0
1/4 = $27 ($52/$700 food/household/gas)
$2 for a gallon of milk
$25 for gas

I also had $100 medical payment today but it's not planned spending or part of the budget so not exactly sure where to stick that...so I'll just keep it separate since it's an uncontrollable expense.

VERY busy day at work today--didn't have time to eat lunch (which I brought) got a couple of snacks to make the day so,

1/4 $1.50 on snacks

(at 3 $0 days for the month)

bought gas this afternoon, but it was too cold to stand out there long enough to fill up so $20 on gas (leaves $140 for the month)--dd doesn't have dance this week so I may actually be able to make the week on just the $20.

Looks like I may have a $15 co-pay for the doc tomorrow. DD has mono (has since Thanksgiving) and her side is hurting. Spleen may be enlarged so need to go get it checked out.
