No burgers at Sci-Fi?

I just read this on another board-is it true? Why on earth would they get rid of burgers from Sci-Fi? Isn't that what they're known for?

I suspect that you can still order burgers, but to answer the OP's question, the reason why a place like Sci-Fi might get rid of that option is that burgers tend to be lower priced than most other menu items, and so by eliminating them, the restaurant might be able to increase revenues. Customers are very predictable, and so while any one of us might say, "I'll just order less and they'll decrease revenues," professionally-run restaurants, like Disney's, know when that's true and when it is false, and can maximize their profit based on their knowledge and experience.

Say it ain't so! I ate at Sci-Fi in February for the first time, and I really enjoyed the burger as well as the restaurant overall. I talked the place up so much to my mom that we have an ADR there in October, and she is really looking forward to getting a burger.

Apparently the on-line menus are wrong. They posted the dinner menu as the lunch menu. Lunch, at least, still has burgers.

I just ate lunch at Sci-Fi on August 10 and burgers were still on the lunch menu.
