No ADR Homecoming question

My DH and I are planning on heading over to Disney Springs our first evening in town (2/21). We are hoping to be there by 8:30-9:00 pm, but are at the mercy of Disney transportation. I didn't make an ADR since I'm not sure what time we will get there for sure. Does anyone have any idea of what kind of chance we have of getting a table? We've never gone to a sit down restaurant w/o an ADR. I really want to try Homecoming though and don't really want to do the grab n go line.

Check and see if you can get a reservation through Open Table.

Thanks. I don't see them on open table. the MDE app actually shows a couple times open still for that night, but I don't want to make a reservation that I'm not positive that we can make.

Bummer! Hopefully you can make a day-of ADR once you have a better idea of your timing.

With such a late time and a small party you have a good chance of booking in MDE on the day of your reservation time. I would check that day as soon as you are comfortable with your timing.

Homecoming is one of the few restaurants that holds back tables for walk-ups. There's usually a 30-60 minute wait, but you should be able to get in.

We recently went twice without ADRs. Both times were lunch and both times we ate at the bar (our choice). Bar seating is first come first serve. Might be a good option for you.

I have heard more stories about people able to walk up than those not able to do so. I would give it a shot and if they cannot accommodate you, there are CS options in DS that are not grab and go.

My husband I ate there around 8:30 or so one evening (during the week) and had no problem grabbing a seat at the bar.
