No ad in Sunday paper for Free Dining

I just went out and purchased the Sunday paper on Saturday night (Chicago Tribune) and couldn't find an ad for the free dining promotion. I am disappointed!

I am hoping they will keep the dates the same as the bounceback (thru 9/27). I had to change our dates from mid September to late September/early October. If it does end on the rumored date of 9/20 I'll have to change dates once again. God Bless Free Dining!

There was no ad in my Philadelphia Inquirer either. I am not surprised, it will probably going after it starts and runs for a few weeks.

I don't remember seeing any from years past.

Last year the visa holders was not advertised but the open to the public free dining codes were. They pictured goofey with chef hat and some sort of frying pan cooking and said something like enjoy dining free. The codes were also listed in fine print. This was in the Philly Inq. There was a deadline of June. As late as June there were still rooms left for free dining at most resorts. But last year I don't remember there being as much talk of people booking with a bounce back rate for free dining.

I'm in Chicago too, I have never seen any ads in papers now or in the past. I always thought FD is like a secret. Because the only way you can find out is online.

It will most likely be in this weeks papers sometime before Thurs. They did not want to put the code out right now as they did not want tons of calls when the offer is not even out yet. That being said yours truly bought a Chicago tribune and a Chicago sun times hoping to rip into it like a kid on xmas morning. I was sad to see no code but I will be awaiting my turn on Thursday to take a bite out of Free Dining

No ad in our paper either. But I do remember seeing an ad either last year or the year before with a travel agency about free dining.
