No AAA rates available at CR in Oct 2006!

I just tried to get a quote through DU for a standard room at CR from Oct. 7 through Oct. 14 2006 to find out there are none available. Anyone know why this is? Has CR not opened these rooms up yet? Would they all be booked already?

I was able to get a woods view at WL, but I don't understand why CR wouldn't have availablity this far in advance.

Any suggestions?

I know there used to be a large golf tournament at WDW in October. It was there the last time we stayed at CR back in 1995. We said we would never go in October again the CR was very crowed as were the parks. Now that was 10 years ago - so things could have changed for this tournament! I hope so!

We are actually leaving this Friday - for our first August trip (had to go when school was out).

I tried to go thru DU and they said they can't do AAA discounts. Is that correct???

Snoopygirl - they got me a AAA rate at WL. So I would say they are able to reserve these rates. I would try again. Did you have a AAA membership at the time you asked them?
