no AAA avail at POFQ?

How common is this? We're going 6/18- 6/24 and wanted to get a AAA room until AP rates came out (my 1st yr with APs - YAY). Well when I called today she said there were no AAA discounts avail. What does this mean? and is it possible for some to be released?

I'm still crossing fingers for those APs next week. If they don't we'll have to go Value Which is okay, we've done it before, just wanted to splurge this time.

A certain number of rooms are reserved for AAA rates. I would guess that they are all taken for your travel dates. Keep checking though. People cancel reservations all the time and they may open up again.

We tried to book AAA package yesterday for POFQ for our late April trip, and were told the same thing--rooms are available, but NOT at the AAA discount.

There were other resorts available in this time period with AAA discount, but NO moderates!

We have the AAA rate for POFQ June 18-24 but we reserved that back in December. I think they are just going quick. My mom had tried to get the AAA rate at WL and asked the CM to check another hotel. By the time he switched back, they had already lost the AAA room at WL! So I think they are all just going fast. I'm still hoping for a better deal, but will keep this one because it's better than nothing. I would keep trying just in case someone cancels.

POFQ is one of the smaller resorts in terms of the number of rooms that it has, so there are not as many AAA rooms available as there are at the larger resorts.
