It's look like we lost day 7 of my report. - The adventures at Seaworld - November 8.
It's Friday November 9. We are again greeted by beautiful weather in the upper 70's and sunshine. We are going to make the drive to Tampa to go to Busch Gardens. I have not been to Busch Gardens since December of 1987. My wife has never been. So this will pretty much be a new experience for the both of us.
This report will not be very long. We weren't particularly impressed with the attractions or the park. It had some great moments but they were few and far between for us.
Highlights:
1. Taking the train on the tour around the park.
2. Taking the skyway across the park.
3. Rhino Rally
4. Seeing the animals.
The train ride allowed us to rest and see some of the animals that we would have missed otherwise. The skyway allowed us to see over the whole park. Rhino Rally was pretty decent, however it was plagued with mechanical problems all day. We were finally able to ride after visiting this attraction 3 times. A word to the wise is: Do Not Sit In The Back Row If You Don't Like a Wet Back. It was a good thing that this was our final ride of the day.
Overall I think we can save some money and not visit this park for our trip in August. Maybe Busch Gardens in Virginia is better.
Today we are dead tired from all the walking and riding the average coasters. We make the 50 minute trip back to the Dolphin to eat. We grab burgers from Tubbi's and eat in our room. We elect to stay in tonight and watch TV. Law & Order is on.
Next : Saturday November 9 - The Best of Disney : AK, MGM, & EPCOT in one day.
