NJ week is referred to as the week during the NJ teacher's convention (which is actually the first Thurs-Sat in November) This year's 2002 convention will be on Nov 7-9. Many parents take their kids out of school on Mon.,Tues., and Weds., since the schools are closed on Thurs. and Fri. They flock to Florida in droves, that's why it's referred to as NJ week.
