NJ Homeowners insurance

Ok firstly i know how dangerous trampolines can be, but we are looking in to getting one. Now i called my homeowners insurance to see if they would cover me, but could they told me they could not answer that until after i brought the trampoline!!!

I was wondering if you live in NJ and have a trampoline, who is your homeowners insurance is with?

Your best bet might be contacting an insurance agent, who deals with several companies. An agent will have the answers for you, and will give you quotes without buying.

I am in NJ and switched insurances last year due to very high premiums. I saved over 1000, by switching!

We have a pool and dogs, and the dog was the biggest issue. Some companies won't insure depending on the breed... Even if it has never bit anyone. Thankfully my agent spoke to the underwriter, my dog is about to turn 14, has glaucoma, and has issues walking.. But he is part Chow (looks it), shepherd and rottie... all 3 on the insurance's non no list.

After not being able to get a straight answer out of my insurance company about whether they would cover us for a trampoline or not, i called our auto insurance company. They gave us a quote for homeowners, but it is through another company, ASI, does anyone have them or know anything about them?
