Nit-picky question, WOW, I need a hobby....

OK, I really think I am DIS crazy!!!
I just paid my final $$ to DLT The CM said I'll get my package 21 days out.......does that mean I'll actually get my package 21 days out OR they send it via UPS at 21 days out? I was so excited, I forgot to ask her!!

And now it is a really important detail so I will know if I will be at work (where I had them send it) or at home or out on location that day! Does anyone know for sure? And does anyone know how long it takes via UPS? I mean, do they ship it ground, next day air, 2nd day, or what?? Thank you VERY much in advance!!!!!

When we paid (we booked through Costco, which uses WDTC, so when i called it in I was talking to a CM who simply answers Costco Travel/Disney), they sent it about a week after.

I don't know when it was shipped, b/c they didn't give a tracking number. One morning we got a voicemail from UPS saying that they would be delivering it within a certain amount of time (everyone I have heard mention packet delivery says that UPS calls them), and while we were dithering about going out as planned, the delivery arrived (30 minutes after the phone call).

I called WDTC and asked for the tracking number so I would know when to call in sick to work...

They were able to give me the number and I was surprisingly unable to work the day the package was delivered to my door...

When we purchased through the Disney Company, it was mailed out 21 days out via Fed-Ex and needed a signature. I ended up going to the Fed-Ex office to pick it up. When I went through Magical Travel Travel Agency, it went to them 21 days out and they sent it out via USPS and it was in my mailbox.

Thanks!! Looks like 2/25 is 21 days out, so I should have it 2/27 or 2/28 depending on how long UPS takes since I'm clear across the country, it's good to know they'll call!! Glad I had it shipped to work, I should be here those days!

And, what a great treat to get at work!!! wooooo hoooooo!!! I can't wait!!

Yep, they call and leave an automated message that UPS will be delivering on such and such day at around such and such time so be home..

I have to say that I was annoyed that I had to make a trip to UPS because no one is ever home to sign. It is definitely a very good idea to have them ship to work!

We had our trip book for Nov 22, and our package came on Halloween!! I was so excited. They also called me too to let me know when it was coming.

Oh its the funniest happiest feeling when it comes. I promised DH I wouldn't open it until he got home. I tell you that was the LONGEST 4 hours of my life! hahaha
