Nintendo DS Lite

Hi, my DD (6) wants a Nintendo DS for Christmas. My older DD (10) has one and she is constantly nagging to be allowed to use it. Does anyone know where I can buy one cheaply? I don't want to buy from eBay as I'm sure I would end up with a faulty one. I bought a bundle for my eldest and that was quite a good deal.
Any ideas?

I got my DD's for last christmas off ebay and it was like new, came in the box etc. I'm just always careful who I buy off, check their feedback etc

My daughter bought a PS3 Bundle from Smyths toyshop in the summer and they offered the best deal going, much cheaper than all the other stores we tried, they also gave us a 10% loyality card that we could use at the same time, and 2 x £5 off vouchers for future purchases, so check them out if you have a store near you

I found exactly what I wanted on Smyths but it's not available to buy online, only in the stores and there isn't a store anywhere near me.

If you have a CEX near you there always a good bet and the gaming stores that do game exchanges as they have good deals on to.

I bought my DD5 a regular DS lite (the basic one) for her birthday last month. For a start I struggled to find a retailer still selling them but luckily she wanted a red one and Toys r Us were selling them with £10 off for £79 - just the console, I didn't need a games bundle I was quite happy with that. I think they have gone back up to £89 now.
I think the Game chain sell reconditioned ones but TBH I remember them only being about £10 cheaper than what I paid for the new one so I didn't think it was worth it.
