Nintendo DS games for 4 year old girl

Does anyone have a child of this age with a Nintendo DS? If so, what games would you recommend? My bff is getting her daughter one for Christmas and we would love some game suggestions! Any answers will be greatly appreciated!

My DD5 started playing with her DS at 4, and plays Nemo, Mario, Littlest Pet Shop, and Disney Friends. THe last two she needed some help learning how to play them, but once or twice through she had them figured out!

Build a Bear is another good one for this age. She'll need some help the first time through as there are things to read, but can quickly play on her own.

How do your kids do w/ the DSs? My 3.5yr old plays his GBA fine, but wants a DS. I'm just not really trusting that he is ready yet since he just broke a GBA yesterday (thankfully we had a replacement plan).

My dd5 got her ds when she was 4. She has older brothers and was playing theirs. I would not recomend disney friends there is a lot of reading. She has a couple of Dora games that the first time she played them she didn't even need help. They don't have reading that is not spoken out loud. She has a my little pony game that she loves. She can play her brothers mario brothers game. She also plays lego batman, but does need help at times. Diego games are simple too.

My DD5 got her DS when she was 4.5. She loved playing Cooking Mama! She also played all the games mentionied already. The Disney Princess jewels one doesn't require reading, so it was a good choice for her. Dora, and My Little Pony games were great too!

Great timing on this thread. We are giving our dd a DS for her 4th birthday this week. I read great reviews about Smart Girl's Playhouse, and bought her that to go with it. I'll have to look into some of these other titles before her birthday.

MarioKarts is also a good one. Both my son and daughter enjoying playing it. I bought my daughter a couple of the Horse ones which were E rated and I was shocked at some of the things that were in it. So I would not recommend those for a 4 year old. The littlest pet shops games are all good as we have all of those.
