Nintendo coming to Universal?

I honestly don't like the idea of Mario and Mickey teaming up, for some reason in my mind the two worlds couldn't be farther apart. I don't like thinking of Mickey as Kurby, gobbling up every well known icon and sprouting a new outfit. Can't Mickey just stay Mickey? I don't know why the idea of this bugs me so much.

Mario and Sonic have had a presence in Epcot for years. Not sure they necessarily need to be completely intertwined, but if Mario gets a cameo in Wreck-It Ralph 2, that would be sweet. Lol

Nintendo isn't coming to any of the Disney parks, it'll be Universal parks.

On a related note, in case anyone missed it. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata passed away at the age of 55 last week. Such a talented man. He was one of my son's role models. Very sad.

A terrible tragedy, he was genuinely a great guy and really cared for the company. I wonder if this will affect anything regarding Nintendoland? Probably not too much, but new leadership could lead to new developments, for better or worse.

I think a Pokémon World at Universal would be really neat. It would bring back so much nostalgia from being a kid...and plus, who doesn't love Pikachu or Team Rocket?

I still think KidZone and the MIB/Simpsons plot would be the best spot for Nintendo. Plenty of room to include several immersive Nintendo experiences. However, I DO like your Smash Bros ride idea. Mashing up some series that may not get full rides like Starfox, Metroid, and Kirby, would make for a fun ride.
