Does anyone know if there is a different menu for Nine Dragons if you are on the DDP? I read on another sight that someone was only able to order off a certain menu bcause they were on the dining plan. When we went last May, we were able to order anything off the menu. We are going back in May and was wondering if the menu choices have changed if you are on the DDP? Alos does anyone know if they took the Gen Tso'd checken off as an entree? I see it is on as an appetizer but I don't see it lised as an entre.. Thanks
Kim

We used the DP at Nine Dragons in Aug and there definately wasn't a seperate menu to order from. Not sure about the General Tso's..Our meal was fantastic by the way! :goodvibes

At several Epcot restaurants they offer a "chefs" menu or a "favorites" menu, or some other non-descriptive name that gets you an appetizer even on the basic DDP. There are limited choices for app., entree, and dessert from the lower priced offerings on the normal menu. It's one TS dining credit, or a fixed price when paying OOP.

I bet she was referring to this, as Nine Dragons does have one for both lunch and dinner, as does Chefs de France, LeCellier, and I'm sure others. On the DDP you are NOT limited to this menu, but lots of people order from it to get an appetizer included in their meal. Some people mis-understand their server when they are told "you can get this on the dining plan" without being told that they are not limited to just that menu.

We ate at Nine Dragons yesterday at 4:30. We are on the DDP, and the server told us when we sat down that we get an entree, dessert and drink (no appetizer). We ordered the appetizers and paid for them, but upon reflection we were surprised by the "no appetizer" rule because we couldn't find any documentation on this restriction. Was it just us?

Food was good, daughter loved the stir fried veggies.

Appetizers are not included on the Dining Plan.

We ordered from the pre-fixed menu (which many places now offer) which includes an appetizer. The only *catch* is that you can only choose from the pre-fixed menu - no substitutions are allowed. :)
