9D gets a bad rap on here, but we went there and had a very good meal. Yes, it was more expensive than what I pay for Chinese food at home, but most of the food we buy in WDW is more expensive than what we pay at home. I think a part of the disconnect here is that people are willing to pay more money for a good steak (Le Celier) or fancy Italian (Tutto Italia), but they think of Chinese food as being cheap and fast, as in what they get from their local place. Nine Dragons isn't going to have a $4.95 lunch special, but we enjoyed the food and didn't think it was overly expensive by WDW standards.
