Right, I have finally caught up

Ooh I don't know where to start!

You have totally convinced me to try the Grand Floridian Cafe & Trails End for the first time and I just have to get one of those Mickey shaped muffins from the Boardwalk

The muffins are cute! I wasn't expecting the banana flavor, but I enjoyed it. One of my sons didn't like it for the same reason. Please let me know how you like GFC and TE!

Loving your review so far and I don't want to interrupt.... but my DH is doing the same DEDE on August trip. What did you do during the experience? Do you sit with him, in the stands in a particular area? DD and I were planning to go to Capt Cooks for bfast then head back to watch him drive. What do you suggest?

So sorry to just now be responding! You are taken to a little room where all the drivers listen to a presentation and watch a training movie. Our whole family was allowed to stay in there with DH and found the movie to be quite interesting! When your DH is called up to drive, there may be more than one person waiting for a certain car. My DH was the second driver in the Lamborghini Superleggera. When it was his turn I took pics of him having his helmet put on and getting into the car. **My pics are better than the "professional" pics that were taken. Then, I took pics of him taking off. Then, I RAN over to this other area where I stayed until he was finished. I took pics of him going around the track. When I knew he had completed his laps I RAN back over to the first area to take pics of him getting out of the car (wanted to see the smile).

Breakfast--I think you could easily have breakfast at any Magic Kingdom hotel. Captain Cooks is a good choice!

I really believe your family could find some "normal" food to eat. Just talk with your server. Remember, they are there to make magic happen!! I love the Naan bread. I am not brave enough to try making it myself, though, and I am a pretty daring cook!

we are on the DxDDP and 95% of our ADR's is for my daughter so i figured that sanaa can be the one choice for me.

I am just betting your daughter will enjoy her meal more than you are imagining. There are African singers/drummers that make their way around the restaurant during dinner to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc... If you are lucky enough to score a window seat she will be fascinated by the animals! GREAT CHOICE~!!!

I can't believe that I have often called the trifle my favorite dessert...and I didn't even order it this time! What's wrong with me? Oh, well...next time, for sure! There is more to love than just the fantastic pizzas at Via Napoli! The oven and decorative jars, etc. are so interesting to look at! The whole experience is fantastic!
