Just wondering if anyone has this camera, and had pictures they have taken that they could share.
We recently took our very first family vacation - went to WDW. I own a Panasonic Mini-DV. It has always done fine for what we needed in the past - but at disney I found some limitations. I went to a local Wolf Camera store and the man listened to what I liked vs didn't like - and this was the camera he suggested. It is hard to know without seeing pics though.
I'm not a camera expert. I picked my Panasonic for what I wanted (about 3 or 4 years ago) which was videos, and it does just fine for that. It is also suppose to take digital pictures and for the most part those were fine too (3.1 mp). But I found for moving pictures (like on the carousel) or low light pictures it didn't do well at all. Also, a big negative was we could zoom out pretty well - but couldn't take close up shots. As characters would come to our table we would have to move back quite a ways to try to fit them all into the picture. Whereas neighboring diners could just take the picture without moving to the other side of the room.
When I played with the Nikon what I did like was that the time in between pictures was quick. And even if the picture on the screen was blury (because I was moving) the picture seems to have come out clear.
If you've made it this far through my rambling, I was just hoping to see if anyone had any examples they could share of the quality of pictures this camera can take.
Thank you in advance.
