Nikon Coolpix P4?

I have a D70, but want something more compact for occasions when I can't or don't want to carry the larger camera.

I would welcome opinions on the P4, or recommendations for a compact digital with similar qualities.

I've got the P4 and have really enjoyed it. I'm still learning how to use the camera to its full potential as it has SO many cool features and functions. The view screen is nice and big; the pictures it takes come out very clear (if they don't, it's user-error! ); it's rather compact, but not too small. I don't think it's ideal for shots where you need a fast shutter speed, but again, that could just be user-error. If you have any specific questions, let me know, and I'll do my best to answer them.
