Nikon - Coolpix 7.1MP Digital Camera

I'm looking into getting this camera. Anyone have any reviews or pics they have taken with this camera? I'm looking into getting an easy camera that has the ability to take crisp shots and some pretty decent night time shots (fireworks etc).

Any input would be great!!! Thanks!

Oops sorry its the S200.

Sorry, I don't know much about that particular model. My dh has the S50 and likes it pretty well. Your ability to get good night shots will be somewhat limited with any small point and shoot camera. You should be able to do all right with fireworks, but things like the nighttime parades at Disney are hard to capture well without a dslr (due to its larger sensor) and a fast lens.

I had a Coolpix S9 and I was very happy with it. It has several nighttime scene modes, so that's not a problem. It took very clean looking photos, and I loved it when I had it (broke a couple months ago. ). I'd definitely reccomend it. :] No idea about the S200, though.

I don't have the S200, but I've got the Nikon Coolpix P4 (8 mg) and love it. It does well with crisp shots and, as long as I use a tripod, takes fairly good night shots. It's got a fireworks setting as well a few general night time ones, too. As Jen said, it's just not as fast as a DSLR to get the really clear, crisp shots that you'll see posted around here.
