Does anyone have either of these digital camera's? I have a Nikon SLR and love it but am looking to buy a digital to carry to WDW. I love to take pics and I take tons :flower: I have narrowed it down to the Nikon Coolpix 4600 or the Sony DSC560. I really would like info from someone that actually has used on of both. We are going in Oct and I'm planning on buying one this week so I can have it figured out by my trip :cool1:

Thanks

I purchased a Nikon 4300 before my trip in december last year. I got a few months early so I could learn how to use it. I LOVE IT..There are a few funny things about it like you can't turn it on with the lense cap on it makes you turn it off and on again. It has so many options Here are some pics I took with mine.

I have noticed that taking action photos and night time ones can be difficult with a digital camera you really need to play with it before you go. I think when I go in Aug. I'm bringing my tiny table top tri-pod so I can have pics of me and my sweetie without having to ask anyone since the 4300 also has a timer.

I had a Nikon and I hated it. I thought that it took horrible pictures. I have since bought a Kodak Easy Share - it is really lightweight and user friendly. I love it. I also had a Sony Cybershot from about 4 years ago. It is a 2 megapixel and still takes FABULOUS pictures, so my recommendation would be either a Kodak or a Sony.

I have a Nikon Cool Pix 4300 and it takes great pictures and is so easy to use. The only thing I don't like is how fast the battery runs down, I thought it would last longer.

I would have to agree with the battery. However I do like that it's rechargeable so I don't have to buy batteries. The life of the battery will last longer if you do not use the LCD screen however what fun is that. I purchased an extra battery for my last trip and may even get another one for this one. Never hurts to have several and it cost like $20 bucks so I think it's worth it.

I have a Nikon Coolpix camera and I love it. I took it on my honeymoon to Jamaica and came back with some really awesome pictures. I haven't had a chance to take it to Disney yet, I am looking forward to it! I would recommend this camera to anyone, it has a lot of different features and is pretty user friendly, however to use it correctly in every setting I would suggest reading the book that comes with it, so you can have the settings correct to take great pictures.
