Thanks to the lady yesterday at the nike womens marathon wearing the green shirt with wish. i havent ordered mine yet but seeing someone with it was so motivating!!!!!!!!!!! congrats to the finishers

Hi Kim! Were you one of the runners that passed me and yelled Go WISH or something like that? There were many, many people that passed me AND quite a few people commented on the shirt. One guy even took a picture of the saying on the back. I told him that was OK as long as he didn't get my rumpus in the pic.

But I yelled at you too! I was so excited to see a WISHer on the course! (I was in a hot pink tank that said "Chix that gO!" (from my local running group.)

I loved that race and can't wait to do it again!

Michelle, I thought you were one of the ones that yelled at me. I think I posted this somewhere else. It is a great race. I hope to do it again. Actually, I got in this last minute - three weeks before the race. Nike opened it back up and I took advantage of it. I didn't make the lottery this year or last year but was pleased that I could still get in for this year.

Kim, sorry I didn't back to this thread sooner. I've completed 2 more halves since Nike. In addition, I've got one planned for next weekend, the weekend after and two weeks after that. I'm going GOOFY earlier than expected.

Susie, I'm glad you were able to make it on such short notice! A friend of a friend went down to spectate and ended up registering at the expo!!

So I am glad I am fairly local...only about 1.5 - 2 hour drive depending on traffic. If I don't get in by the lottery, I now know to watch for Nike to reopen it and then if all else fails, take a trip down and see if I can get in at the expo!
