Need Answers!!!

This is our first trip to WDW since the late 80's when we had small children. Now we are taking our grandson. We are checking into the Pop Century in May. We took the dining plan and have been told we can exchange one table service meal for a character meal. Which character meal would a 5 year old enjoy the most? I was told to make the dining reservation for the meal on 2/14/05. Do I really need to make the reservation so early? With so many security restrictions nowadays, will I be able to take a back-pack into the park? We will probably leave the park during the mid-day hours to come back to room and rest (maybe even nap). How reliable is the transportation system and is this a realistic intention? :earseek:

Welcome to the DIS. :) YOu might want to change the subject of your post so that others will be able to help.

For dining questions you would want to post on the restaurant board.

You will find lots of great information here.

Yes you need to make Reservations that early If you want a certain time. May will be the busy so you need your PS but can only do it 90 days out. I would get a PS for every sit down meal you plan if you don't want a 1 to 3 hour wait. As for character meal for a boy you may try Chef Mickeys located in Contempory Hotel.
