Nighttime entertainment April 2024

Heading to DLR 6th April and looking at buying the 5day ticket with Genie+. Can’t decide whether to also get Park Hopper, but one factor that would help me decide is knowing what nighttime entertainment is generally on at that time of year. Should we expect World of Color / Fanstasmic / nighttime parades at that time of year? If so will probably get the park hopper so we can make the most of those.

If you’re going early in the month, during Spring Break, fireworks are every night. Otherwise, they are on Fri Sat Sun nights only.

With Easter being March 31st next year, im not sure when Spring Break ends. (We will be there April 9-16).

We are going for the first time, so I’m buying the 5-day Hoppers & Genie for sheer flexibility & because it includes the photopass as well.

Do we know which dates Spring Break begins / ends? We’re not from the US and have been having a hard time finding that out. Also, just FYI, photopass comes with Genie+ rather than park hopper so would get it either way.

Spring Break in the US is decided by local school systems, who all have their own systems for deciding on their dates, so there’s no one answer, but rather about 15,000 different answers. Kids will have spring breaks mainly in March (and university spring breaks are nearly all in March), but some are tied to Easter, which is early in 2024, and others are later still. Spring break will be mostly over by the second week of April, but there absolutely will be some number of kids on spring break throughout the month.

Spend the extra money and buy the park hopper. In the scheme of things, it's not a ton of extra money and you will appreciate having it. Especially if you have never been or don't plan a return trip anytime soon.
