I know that we all get them, I've just been getting a lot recently. They mostly focus around my losing teeth. The odd thing is, I'm conscious enough to think, surely this is a nightmare? Odd. It probably means something. And not just, brush your teeth more :p

I have read that dreaming about your teeth breaking or falling out can indicate stress or worry, or big changes and transformations in your everyday life. I don’t know how true that is, but I have only had teeth dreams a few times, and it was mostly during exam time at school.

If you suspect iron deficiency get ferritin levels checked (first sign). Iron helps.

Any narcolepsy in the family? Magnesium (nose bleeds, muscle cramps, receding gums, grinding teeth), l-theanine (Olly stress gummies; pills have Ashwagandha which reduces stress but shouldn’t be taken after 2 pm-interferes with sleep).

It could also be allergies and nasal constriction. Humidifier helps and Flonase

I used to suffer from TERRIBLE night terrors and was actually medicated for them. But no more :) Just the usual nightmares that everyone gets.

I wonder why the brain pounces them on us with no warning or reason?

My most frequent bad dream is being in the dark and switching on lights or lamps and they don't work.

And when I'm planning or counting down to a Disney vacation, I have Disney nightmares. Either I'm at the hotel and I can't find the room, or I'm with a group of people and nobody wants to do anything but sit in the room so we don't see anything...or, we're at one of the parks and we leave before I get to ride certain rides. It's nuts.

I have a recurring bad dream (not really a nightmare but it’s unpleasant) that I’ve been having for well over 10 years now where we travel to Disney World and either I forgot to pack anything and/or bring any money or cards with me or it’s the last day of the trip and we’re getting ready to leave and I realize we never left the room and didn’t do anything the whole trip and I’m freaking out trying to get everyone to do something really fast before we have to leave but no one will lol. Stupid dreams but for some reason I have them weekly and it’s weird because we travel lots of places besides Disney but it’s always Disney in my dreams.

Sorry you are experiencing this. I have that dream as well - it's frightening as all get out! Usually happens when I have a lot of stress going on or too many commitments. Like things are slightly spinning OOC.

I have had this dream occasionally. It signifies loss I believe.

My recurrent nightmare is fighting with lions. It’s so real and I can feel the teeth after I wake up. This signifies something that I need to resolve but am afraid of.

I have dreams like that. I'll be at Disney and trying to get to something, but just...can't. Also, weridly, there are a few very consistent versions of the Disney parks in my dreams, that are not at all as they are in real life. They are the same though every time. In one, there is actually this exremely large and elaborate Space Mountain that actually has a couple of rides inside it - it's more like an old-school Epcot Pavillion. In one, Haunted Mansion is a water ride, but the boats always sink!

I’m always super stressed at WDW being the sole planner and LL booking/modifying person. Still my WDW dreams are always pleasant (flying on Soarin is a recurrent one). It’s our happy place away from a stressful/loss filed life and we can forget and leave the real world behind.

If it’s too often I would talk to a Dr to get a night study done. There could be something like narcolepsy, sleep apnea or restless legs disturbing sleep causing nightmares.
