I was curious, do you think Nightmare before Christmas is a Halloween movie or Christmas movie?

I love this movie... and I think it is a Halloween movie...

I like to think of this as a "bridging" movie. :rotfl: You know - a wind down from Halloween and ramp up for Christmas. In Canada we have already done with Thanksgiving and have nothing to look forward to until Christmas.

Despite the fact that Jack is the Pumpkin King, it's a Christmas film. For that matter, so is Die Hard.

Both - that's the beauty of it. We get to enjoy it from October all the way to January!

Christmas. When I'm stressed and wrapping a ton of gifts all at once, I like to pop that movie in and sing along with the dirge-like "Making Christmas." :lmao: It's just how I feel about Christmas at that point in the preparations.

I think its both! but lean more toward Christmas.............I can't wait to see it in the theatre in 3D :cool1:

It's in between. It starts after Halloween is over, so it's not a pre-Halloween movie. And then it ends before Yule night is over, so it's not really an xmas movie either. Just sort of a "bored person making bad choices and ignoring the good advice given to him" movie....(not the biggest fan though it's growing on me the more times DH and DS watch it)

Both but only so it gives me an excuse to include it in our Halloween movie marathon and our Christmas movie marathon lol.

Definately Chirstmas movie!!

DD loves this movie - we watch it year round but it is a fun one to get us in the christmas spirit.
