We will be there in March. I assume it should be possible to watch PTN, Wondrous Journeys and Fantasmic all in one night provided they are all running?

EDIT: see follow up to this question a few posts below.

Yes, you could watch PTN and the fireworks from the same spot, then watch the 2nd F! Or, you watch the 1st F!, watch the fireworks from that area, then move to Main Street to watch the second parade.

Yes, either watching the Paint the Night and Fireworks in the same spot and then go see Fantasmic

Or Watching Fantasmic then the fireworks and then PRN

Expanding on my original question, they are just starting to post hours/entertainment for the days we are there (starting March 15). I reserved a Fantasmic dining package for the 15th, but on the calendar, there is no mention of Fantasmic being shown that night. Furthermore, March 16th and 17th only list Wondrous Journeys with projections. I know they often only do fireworks on weekends, but I thought by mid March (with Spring break starting), they often do nightly fireworks. Anyone know if what is currently listed in the schedule for entertainment might change as we get closer to the actual dates?

If you were able to reserve a dining package, F! will be playing. The entertainment schedule fills in very, very slowly. It's frustrating. I would expect nightly fireworks to start around March 20, but that's totally a guess. Keep an eye on hours, they just extended several dates in Feb, and I'm hoping for the same in March.

If you have a reservation for Fantasmic dining it is unlikely that they won't have it that day unless something unforseen happens closer to that date. Wondrous Journeys will likely only be projections on the 16th & 17th due to it being week day. Pyro is generally only weekends, summer & holiday periods

Last year we got lucky with fireworks on weekdays that week. We were hoping for the same this year but it doesn't look promising.

Disney only a week out announced Disneyland is closing at midnight

So you could get lucky and we will see more nighttime shows on weekdays in march/April but they seem to not want to talk about those things until its about to happen.

The last 2 years DLR had the full suite of nighttime shows in mid March and 10/10 crowds. This year, shorter hours and less entertainment. It will be interesting!

Thanks everyone! I guess I'll have to wait and see, but you would think for the 70th, they would pull out all the stops. I am mainly going for Paint The Night (my fave), but I watch fireworks EVERY night when we go to WDW (even our trips where we do 13 park days) and will be pretty upset if Wondrous Journeys only does fireworks once while we are there. I have seen F! enough times that I can take it or leave it.

Yes, different dynamic. They are restricted as to how many times per year they can do fireworks due to the proximity of residents.

Also, even if fireworks are scheduled, they are frequently canceled due to wind.

Lets just wait and see

A few less shows but the hours can change

Heck Disney doesn't even have the Gospel Times up for DTD at the end of this month yet

So they could update the hours
