We're going to WDW 5/13-5/20 and it looks like the daytime temps will range from upper 80's-low 90's, but only low-mid 70's at night. SHould I plan on changing to jeans/shorts at night or will I be ok in shorts?

I will be going 5/18-5/22 and I plan on bringing shorts and capris. We will be visiting friends that live down there. I was there (by there I mean FL/Deltona) 3/18-3/22. At that time I brought shorts, capris and one pair of pants. Only had the pants on one night. The rest of the nights I had on my capris. Had the shorts on every day :sunny:

Capris are probably the perfect length for nights, and being from NJ (my former home) you might very well be comfortable in shorts in the evening. For me it's still a little cool for shorts at night.

Remember a low of 74 for the evening means that is as low as it gets. So most times early evening is much warmer still.

You'll be fine in shorts. Being a fellow Northerner, we found the evening humidity in the middle of May kept us PLENTY warm!! Maybe bring a couple of pairs of capris in case it gets chillier than 70's.

Have a great trip!! :sunny:

What would you wear if it was in the low-mid 70s in Keyport, NJ?

If you are coming from an area where it is still cold, evening temps in the 70's will feel warm to you. Floridians would have long pants on.

This is very true.

It will stay HOT well into the evening!! We live in Houston and from late May-October there isn't a day that feels "cool". Orlando is even a little hotter than here. Trust me being chilled outside is one thing you won't have to worry about. Freezing inside with ac blasting is a whole other issue. I have a sweater at all times here b/c you go from 95 outside to 60 inside!! Enjoy your trip, we leave in 16 days!
