Night of Joy

Hi all- we are set to head down September 4-10, and DD17 wants to go to Night of Joy on Saturday. I went to Night of Joy back in '86 (I wanted to see Stryper!), and it seems like the rides in the park were operating, but I called Disney to make sure and the rep said the park was basically shut down except for the concerts. Does this sound right?

The rides run - although some of them are shut down, though not very many that I could see. The thing that you might really run into is the amount of dining options that are open - when I went in 2006 I only recall about 3 or 4 places being open for dinner. Cosmic Ray's was one of those places, I don't remember the other. I go either to Rock the Universe or Night of Joy every year - both have rides open.
