Night of Joy questions...

Does anyone know when Night of Joy is this year? And is it crowded then? What's it like?

All I can tell you is that Night of Joy is almost always the second weekend of September. The concerts are on Friday and Saturday nights. The day time is not crowded....the concerts are. They are tons of fun though and well worth it. We are planning on going again this year. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Where do they hold the concerts?

Hi,

The concert stages are set up th roughout the magic kingdom, with the biggest one at the Castle, then one by splash mountain, one in tomorrowland near buzz light year and one in the restaurant with the stage that comes up out of the ground.

Its really really fun to be in the mk and hear your favorite Christian music blaring from the speakers!! the characters come out and dance in fantasy land and its just a special time. it does get pretty crowded during the concert times, but thats because lots of youth groups are there.

we have gone the past 2 years and love it!! i hope to return again this year!!! its a very special event!!

Some of my best memories are from NOJ when I was in high school during--ahem--the late 80's. Nothing like hearing Michael W. Smith or Petra in such an awesome setting

We went a couple of times and it happened to rain once. A lot of the bands couldn't play because of the rain. The other time was great and we enjoyed wandering around listening to everyone. One problem is the groups we wanted to hear were sometimes scheduled at the same time in different areas so we had to pick and choose.
