We are looking at hotels the night before at Gatwick as it is a 11:15 departure, we are also looking to take advantage of Virgins Twilight Check in, therefore we need a hotel.

Just need a opinion we are looking at the Premier Inn near the North Terminal, and want to know if anyone has stayed here. We were wondering if it is really that close to the North Terminal, and then how easy it is to get to the South Terminal. We will not have a car once we are dropped off, so need to know how close the north terminal is.

Here is the Hotel link:

Ok, have no idea on the Premier Inn, but can offer opinion on the "Gatwick Travelodge Central." It is VERY close to the airport and has a payable shuttle service to and from the airport, both north and south terminals (about £3 each, each way) This travelodge opened about a year ago and when I was there last year, it was lovely. I am staying there next week for the same reason.

Lots of variety around the airport and many offer some kind of shuttle service to and from the airport.

All I can say is that Google Earth and the internet is your friend at times like this.

I haven't actually stayed there, but we walked past it last November. It is ideally located right next door to the Sofitel. You just walk out the hotel and straight into the terminal. We will definitely be looking to stay here in the future.
Getting from the North to South terminal is also simple. Just take the train which shuttles back and forth between the two.
