After spending the day at MK with our families, we have one more night with a babysitter for our 14 month old daughter. We are planning on dinner at Jiko's around 7pm.
Any suggestions on what to do after?? We've been to Pleasure Island many times but have never been to the Boardwalk.
I've seen pictures but what's it like?
La Nouba?

Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated.

Personally, I love the Boardwalk. They have a few restaurants (both casual and a few nicer ones) and it is beautiful at night. It really depends on what you want to do. If you are just talking about dinner, Boardwalk is great, but if you want more excitement, I suggest Pleasure Island or Downtown Disney.

My wife and I went on an Illuminations cruise after our wedding and had a great time. You can set it up through WDW Recreation (I believe the number is 407-WDW-PLAY) and it costs around $120. I don't know if you have heard about this cruise or not, but a boat will pick you up at either YC/BC or the Boardwalk and it will take you on a brief cruise down by the Studios before parking near the International Gateway to watch Illuminations. From this vantage point you will have a very good view of the show, and it almost makes you feel like you are watching the show all by yourselves. I would highly recommend this.

Then, after the cruise, you have all the opportunities of things to do at the Boardwalk. Personally, my wife and I were so tired after our wedding that we went back to our room. However, we have been to Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance, and both are fun.

Hope this helps.

This may sound corny, but if I were in the World during Christmastime (and you will be), I'd want to see how the various resorts are decorated for the holidays. I think renting a limo or other car to whisk you around to some of the resorts would be a wonderful way to spend some quiet, romantic time together. Be sure to take a camera along--DUH! :teeth:

Boardwalk is great, so many fun things to see. La Nouba is great, DO NOT MISS IT. You will be amazed, captivated, touched, etc, etc. I highly reccommend it!
