Day 1 I woke up at 3:30 and got the kids dressed and last minute stuff packed. The limo arrived a little after 4:00. Everything went smoothly at the airport and the flight. We wore our MAW shirts to the airport, and I did notice some people looking at us and whispering, like they new we had a sick child, and it made me a little uncomfortable.
When we got to the Orlando airport, we had a nice man from GKTW meet us and help us with our luggage and getting our rental van. They also had booster seats ready for us. We got to GKTW with no problem (brought our GPS). We had gone to Disney before in the winter and spring, but this was our first time going in September. The parks close earlier, but its less crowded, and the weather is better. Our villa was directly across from the entrance to Matthews Boundless Playground. We settled in and then went swimming. Then we decided to go to Downtown Disney and to Planet Hollywood for dinner. While there, we started a conversation with the family sitting at the table next to us. The first of several people who noticed our shirts or buttons and asked us about MAW and GKTW. After dinner, we walked around Downtown Disney for a while. Alyssa and I wanted to go up in the hot air balloon, but it was closed due to high winds. We went to the Lego store. Nicky loves Leggos, so he played with them for about a half hour. By then it was about 9pm and we were all exhausted, so we called it a night. We did not really take any pictures the first day. I think we were just too overwhelmed and tired to think about that.
Tomorrow, meeting up with family and friends at Animal Kingdom. Dinner just the 4 of us at Tutto Italia at Epcot
