We don't use endearments -- just doesn't feel natural to us. I call him by his first name, and only very rarely will I shorten it.

He'll once in a while call me by a nickname a friend of ours gave me in high school (Mushy, rhymes with pushy).

My dh calls me Babe. All the time, in public and out. He's done it ever since we started dating. One time my dd was dating a fella and my mom commented on how much they seemed like my dh and I when we were dating. I asked her why and she said "Because he calls her "Babe" all the time just like D. always did with you", lol.
