We spent a week there a few years ago. I think my kids were 9 and 5. They loved it! I think you would enjoy it. Love CSR too

do the characters just walk around or have scheduled meet and greets?

Upon check in they will give you a schedule. Meet and greets were free. I believe they were on the schedule. They do have shows that were extra. Call ahead and find out about them. They do sell out. They do offer a "parents night out" It was for about 5 hours. The kids eat,make things and do a slime show. It was around 25 per kid a couple years ago. It was well worth it. They also offered tie dying and some crafts for a small fee.

Was at CSR 2 months ago and it was awesome! You will get a schedule at check in for their activities too.

We're staying there for two nights June 22-23 as a break between US and WDW. We will have 2 11 year old girls. My dd has always wanted to do the Double Dare course from watching the show. We were able to book a private run of the course for just the 4 of us. We will also get front row seats for the show. We booked a suite by the bigger pool ( there are 2). I'll keep you posted
