Nickelodeon Studios ?

I have always been at USO during off season and Nick has been closed. We are going to be there July 11 to 13, will it be operating then? Will there be taping of any shows? How would I find this out? For those who have been, what's it like? I mean, I've seen the shows on TV but how did your kids like it? My 8yo Dnph is so excited about seeing the taping of the show. He's not interested in being on the show (too shy for that) but wants to see a taping. Do we have any hope of this? TIA
