Where can I get the best deal on a subscription to Nickelodeon Magazine? Should I go to the store and buy one to get one of those cards they put inside? Or is there an online magazine store that has a better price?

You can 10 issues for $9.90 from SuperMagDeals.com or at BestDealMagazines.com you can get 15 issues = $13.56, 20 issues = $14.41 or 30 issues = $20.36. I found this info at MagazinePriceSearch.com

You can also purchase subscriptions inexpensively on eBay, but be sure to check out the seller's feedback carefully beforehand.

Hope that helps

The above post seems to be the best.

I saw this mag on Ebay for 6.99 for 1 year. I buy all my magazine subscriptions from Ebay, never had a problem.

If you sign up for BestDealMagazines emails, they send out specials and coupon codes. Right now use HOLIDAY17 for 17% off most magazines through December 15th.

Are both of these sights "safe to buy"? Or are there hidden costs? I was shopping for Nintendo Power for my DS and noticed it was $4 versus almost $30 through Nintendo. Almost too good to be true. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks.

I think some have a catch. One I was looking at makes you give your email address so they can send you additional offers and there is also a service charge. I also read something about automatically renewing the subscription when it runs out. I don't know if I feel comfortable giving them my credit card number if they are going to renew the subscription without my permission.

I did go ahead and order the Nintendo Power magazine for my DS 14 for Christmas. I used a code at currentcodes.com for an extra %15 off (70c). Forgot about this %17 off code posted. For a total of $3.99 for a one year subsciption. From the currentcodes.com offer it did mention it does not automatically renew subscriptions at a higher rate, so that's good. Hopefully my CC will be billed only what my total read. If my CC statement reflects this rate and my son gets a full years subscription I'll be truly amazed. About the price not that it's an unbelievable offer and web site. :earseek:

Thanks for the information!

I bought Nickelodeon for my son last year on ebay...3 year subscription was $10 and it started coming very quickly (the ebay subscriptions seem to come FASTER than the ones ordered elsewhere). I've also bought my multiyear subscriptions to Time and the Week from ebay auctions as well as my TV Guide (the 500 other magazines that come to my house are all freebies...LOL). Look for sellers that do NOT charge you a "shipping fee".

Just an update........I ordered through bestdealsmagazine and on my CC statement it was only charged $3.99! So no hidden costs popping up. This was an awsome deal. Now hopefully we will be getting a full years subscription. I wrapped up a magazine ad indicating the gift subscription for my DS-14 to open Christmas morning. He'll LOVE it! Thanks to the original OP I came up with this brilliant gift idea. At least as a mother I hope my DS thinks I'm brilliant too!! :goodvibes

Thanks again! :disrocks:

I swear by BestDealsMagazine. Gotta love their deals of the day :)

Another update on this. My son just got his first copy of the subscription I got him for Christmas. He does love it! I ordered from BestDealsMagazines.com and had no problems at all with billing or shipping.

It did seem to take a while because my DS was really looking forward to getting them. But the website does say 8-12 weeks and it was about 9 weeks to recieve the first copy.

I highly recommend this site if anyone is shopping for great prices on magazines and another thanks to the OP of this thread.

Once again :disrocks:

DianaPrincessofWales,

I had 2 different orderes from BestDealsMagazines.com for my DD & DN for Christmas too.

I was getting worried, since we have not received ours either.
Just last night, I printed out the 2 receipts. I ordered Dec 5th. & Dec 19th. It did say 8-12 weeks.

Phew......glad you got yours, hopefully mine will come this week also.

Thanks for the heads up.

Patricia

I normally Google for magazines, and then check the different links. There are a lot of magazine companies. Once I find a great price, I will google for the company if I am unfamiliar with it - once I found some negative responses about one company, so I didn't use them. That has only happened once, though (and most of my magazines I get for free anyway, but I do order a few that I really like). I've been debating getting OK Magazine, which I really like - one company has it for like $5.81 for a year.

I used ebay for 2 mag subscriptions..... Nick Jr. and Disney Adventures.... both 3 year subscriptions and both under 5.00. Just be sure to check the feedback on the person. :)
