We just returned from 7 nights at the Nick Hotel. The upkeep of the hotel is horrible. The rooms are very worn and the service is less than desirable. Of the 7 nights we were there, 4 days we had no hot water. When speaking with the guest services manager, he just said we needed to let if run for about 30 minutes and it should warm up. I travel for business all the time and have never had issues with hot water in a hotel. The lifeguards at the pool were not very good with kids and it showed. The characters were good with the kids and that was the highlight of the stay. If this had not been a trip paid for with points, I would have been more upset. Next year, I will be back onsite and will never think about staying offsite again.

I have the same response everytime someone asks about this hotel and people still.. pay $150-300 a night ...yikes our stay was horrible also..and at least you had characters we saw "spong" in the mall area a quick pix and he was gone not enough for that money..pls believe me or buyer beware...................

I couldn't agree more with the previous two posts. The Nick hotel is a completely overpriced hotel with horrible rooms, housekeeping and customer service. The pool/water slide area does not make up for the many other negatives we experienced while there. There was so much humidity in the room (duh, there's a lot of water in the area so address the problem properly!) that the sheets felt wet! Ugghh.

I cannot understand all of the positive reviews people gave this hotel on Trip Advisor. :confused3
